PRESS RELEASE: Red Bank, NJ – The sidewalks of Red Bank will once again be alive with music and entertainment as Red Bank’s StreetLife begins its 14th season on Saturday, June 7. Red Bank RiverCenter has lined up exciting acts for every Saturday evening this summer from June through August, from 6:00pm – 9:00pm.
Music lovers, families, residents, visitors, and anyone looking for a night on the town are invited to downtown Red Bank to enjoy the great performances. Every Saturday StreetLife will take place in front of various businesses from Broad Street to Bridge Avenue and throughout the entire RedBank business district. “StreetLife creates a great atmosphere on Saturday evenings in Red Bank during the summer,” commented Red Bank RiverCenter Executive Director, James Scavone. “With two renowned live theaters, an arts cinema, countless galleries and a number of arts studios, Red Bank has always been a cultural destination. The StreetLife program seeks to bring some of that great culture to the sidewalks of Red Bank.” This year the program will feature many favorite acts returning with multiple performances.
Continuing a successful addition to StreetLife from last year, artists will again return to the streets with visual art displays and performances. RiverCenter is working with the Monmouth County Arts Council, the Art Alliance of Monmouth County and local Red Bank galleries to come up with an inspiring schedule of visual artists. “What draws the artists to the program is the same thing that draws the musicians – great exposure,” said Scavone. “We get great feedback from our performers. Comments like, ‘It’s our favorite gig of the summer; we’d hate to miss it,’” added Amanda Lynn, RiverCenter’s Program Manager and organizer of the StreetLife program. Be sure to watch our website and Facebook page for artist and music schedules.
