PRESS RELEASE: RED BANK, NJ –Red Bank RiverCenter is proud to announce its free event schedule for the 2014 Holiday Season, which includes a full schedule of our traditional holiday events, along with some new additions for children, residents and visitors to enjoy. We hope to bring joy and spirit to everyone this holiday season.
Kick off the season with the annual Holiday Express Concert & Town Lighting on Friday, November 28. The Santa Express returns again this year, departing from the Little Silver train station to Red Bank at 6:44pm. After arriving in Red Bank everyone will parade with Santa who rides a firetruck down Monmouth Street to the concert on Broad. Now in it's 22nd year in Red Bank, Holiday Express will be rocking the streets with all of your favorite tunes with plenty of special guests. Sponsored by Jersey Mike’s Subs and Shore Point Distributing Co. Red Bank Fire Department will be on hand with hot chocolate, 94.3 The Point will be there with music, fun and giveaways!
Our tree will again be located in the picturesque Riverside Gardens Park on W. Front Street. This stunning riverfront park is a gateway to town and now features the beautiful Red Bank holiday tree throughout the season. For the first time in many years our tree was donated by area residents, the Clay Family of Holmdel. It will be removed from their yard and delivered on November 23. Investors Bank has generously sponsored the installation, decorations and lighting of the tree this year. We appreciate our generous sponsors! Escape to an old-fashioned winter village complete with all the trimmings!
TWELVE DAYS OF CHRISTMAS SCAVENGER HUNT Friday, November 28 through Thursday, December 11
Visit over 40 participating businesses to find an item inspired by “The Twelve Days of Christmas” in their holiday decorated windows. Once shoppers find the items in store windows, they can enter to win Red Bank prize packages. Pick up anentry form in any participating store.
