Jackie “The Joke Man” Martling needs no introduction. You can find him on “Jackie’s Joke Hunt” on Howard 101 Sirius XM, woven throughout Howard Stern’s books, Vegas venues, and sometimes without swim trunks on at a beach…which is hardly a surprise because he’s known for his off-color jokes, so why wouldn’t he dare to be different off-stage! But if we must attempt to encapsulate him, this comedian, comedy writer, and radio personality, who was head-writer on The Howard Stern Show for almost 20 years is going to touch down in Jersey on December 20, at Uncle Vinnie’s Comedy Club in Point Pleasant, and you won’t want to miss it!

I had the chance for a quickie (interview) with Martling and here’s how it went… just about the way you would expect it to…
TheLadyinRed: "How does it make you feel when girls ask you to autograph their boobs?"
Martling: "What do you think?"

TheLadyinRed: "Speaking of autographs, what’s the strangest body part you’ve ever autographed?"
Martling: "One time I wrote 'Pretend there's hair here' when a bald guy asked me to autograph his shiny head. ... I signed it, too ... I'm not a dick."
TheLadyinRed (cracking up at this point): "What part of someone’s body do you wish you could autograph but never have?"
Martling: "I've always wanted to draw a target around a girl's anus."

TheLadyinRed: "These nude swimming photos – what’s that all about?"
Martling: "I was swimming naked, and a guy took my picture - a very famous photographer, in fact ... Bob Carey."
(Of course! Don’t we all experience things like this?)

TheLadyinRed: "What have been some of your favorite places to perform?"
Martling: " 'Rascals' in West Orange, New Jersey, The Ft. Lauderdale 'Comic Strip' ... and of course, 'Uncle Vinnie's Comedy Club' in Point Pleasant Beach, New Jersey, where I've worked more than a dozen times and enjoy it more & more every time ..."

Martling: "Yes."

Recently, Martling had a joke cartoon “JokeToon” on “Laughs” on Fox-TV and My9 on November 22-23. Martling shared that it was animated by the incredibly talented Rich Drezen, and the audio is from a performance at The Brokerage Comedy Club in August 2014 that was shot by Ed Huether and ID Unleashed.
Concluding, the colorful conversation, Martling interjected, “I hope these answers are what you want. I haven't had an orgasm in four hours, and I can't think straight.”
