When you find something that suits you, go with it – why change? I feel this way about anything timeless. If a certain cut on a dress looks great on you – don’t change it because of trends or fashion movements; stay classic. If you have a haircut that is fairly timeless and frames your face flatteringly, why toy with trouble? Stick with what works.
I feel that way about certain wardrobe staples, and most recently, swimsuits. I find the most flattering ones for my body type are bikinis that tie at the hips. That way, there’s no margin for error – not too tight around the thighs or strangulation of the hips.
